Villa Del Ray Golf Course is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Delray Beach, Florida.
Villa Del Ray Golf Course first opened for play in 1973. The course was designed by Frank Batto.
The course has tight, tree-lined fairways and small, well-bunkered greens. Most greens are elevated and there are high lips on the bunkers. Eight lakes come into play on ten holes.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,151 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,442 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 8, a par-5 that plays to 448 yards. The shortest holes on the course are # 2 and 15, both are par-3's that play to 151 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 7, a 376-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Villa Del Rey Golf Course is # 15, one of the 151-yard par-3s.
The course close in 2014.
The land will be used for housing development.

Decent layout. Greens are slow. Play early as course gets very busy in the late morning early afternoon. If you play after 1 Pm expect very slow pace of play.
